Correlation between antioxidant activity and anti-wrinkle effect of ethanol extracts of Sanguisorba Officinalis L.

Sanguisorba officinalis L., the dried roots of which are referred to as cucumber herb is a perennial belonging family Rosaceae. This study was showed correlation between antioxidant activity and its anti-wrinkle effects ethanol extraction concentration S. L. The yield extracts all 10% or more, judged be economical. 80% highest in total polyphenol flavonoid contents best activity. 0.830 0.872, respectively, with significant confirmed. In addition, extracts, superoxide anion NO radical scavenging activities were most effective. These results validated that optimum for ethanol.
